LA Bio Solutions, LLC, formerly known as Louisiana Biological Products, Inc., has been providing quality insects for testing and research for over 40 years.
We specialize in producing Aedes aegypti (Yellow Fever mosquito) and sell the eggs volumetrically by the milliliter, with each milliliter containing over 50,000 eggs. Our susceptible mosquito colony was derived from the USDA Insects Affecting Man and Animals Laboratory in Gainesville, Florida, in 1980.
Following the retirement of founder Steve Sackett (Research Entomologist New Orleans Mosquito and Termite Control Board), the business and its daily operations are now led by his son-in-law, Robbie Allen, alongside his son Corey Sackett and other son-in-law Jean Thibodeaux. Each brings over 10 years of hands-on experience working under Steve, ensuring the same standards of quality and service our customers have relied on for decades.
